Apple, Cheese, and Turkey Roll Ups

YUM, right?! My kids have always loved our apple & cheese snacks and just about anything I’ve made in a crescent roll (ham & cheese roll-ups are another favorite)!. So, I figured this was going to be a sure hit in the house…and I was right! It doesn’t get any easier than making these crescents with Frigo® Cheese Heads® String Cheese.

We regularly keep Frigo® Cheese Heads® Cheese products in the house for convenient snacks and easy recipes like this (and like our Caprese Skewers and Sandwich Kabobs). With just 4 ingredients, these roll ups couldn’t be easier or quicker to make. I love that they can work well for an after school snack, quick meal idea, or tasty appetizer! In fact, I think these would make a GREAT Thanksgiving appetizer! So good! Making Turkey & Cheese CrescentsAll you have to do is lay out the crescent triangles on a cookie sheet and slice some apples very thin. You’ll add a few of those thin apples slices, a slice or two of deli turkey, and half of a Frigo® Cheese Heads® String Cheeseand to each crescent. Then, roll up each crescent, folding up the edges to hold in the contents if desired. Bake at 375° for 11-12 minutes and enjoy! Turkey & Cheese CrescentsSo easy and so good! Turkey, Apple, & Cheese Crescent Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 12oz can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8-16 slices deli turkey
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple, very thinly sliced
  • 4 String Cheese Sticks, cut in half

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Place unrolled crescent triangles on a cookie sheet.
  • Add 1-2 slices of turkey, 3-4 thin apple slices, and one string cheese halve on each triangle.
  • Roll up each triangle, tucking in the sides if desired to help hold in the contents.
  • Repeat for all crescent triangles.
  • Bake 11-12 minutes (until golden brown and cheese starts to melt).
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
