They’re especially perfect for fall with the inclusion of the apples! Apples and cheese is one of our favorite snacks. So, I took that combination a little further and made some tasty apple, cheese, and turkey roll-ups!
Apple, Cheese, and Turkey Roll Ups
YUM, right?! My kids have always loved our apple & cheese snacks and just about anything I’ve made in a crescent roll (ham & cheese roll-ups are another favorite)!. So, I figured this was going to be a sure hit in the house…and I was right! It doesn’t get any easier than making these crescents with Frigo® Cheese Heads® String Cheese.
We regularly keep Frigo® Cheese Heads® Cheese products in the house for convenient snacks and easy recipes like this (and like our Caprese Skewers and Sandwich Kabobs). With just 4 ingredients, these roll ups couldn’t be easier or quicker to make. I love that they can work well for an after school snack, quick meal idea, or tasty appetizer! In fact, I think these would make a GREAT Thanksgiving appetizer! So good! All you have to do is lay out the crescent triangles on a cookie sheet and slice some apples very thin. You’ll add a few of those thin apples slices, a slice or two of deli turkey, and half of a Frigo® Cheese Heads® String Cheeseand to each crescent. Then, roll up each crescent, folding up the edges to hold in the contents if desired. Bake at 375° for 11-12 minutes and enjoy!
So easy and so good! I just had a plate of these waiting for the boys when they got home from school and they gobbled them right up! I love how easy they are to make! That buttery, flaky crust with the turkey, melted cheese, and apple – YUM!!!!
So, be sure to save this recipe (printable card below) for a fabulous kid-friendly fall appetizer, snack, or even just a fun, easy dinner at home!
