Do you ever struggle with easy meal ideas that are healthy, but quick? I know I do! Completely “from-scratch” meals are wonderful, but sometimes quick & convenient is needed! So, when I was asked to share a recipe using one of the Tyson® Grilled & Ready® products, I was definitely game for participating! I’ve actually used Tyson® Grilled & Ready® products for years (long before blogging or doing any sponsored posts for them), so I know they’re a perfect for a tasty & convenient on-hand meal option. But, what I didn’t realize is that they have a whole line of Tyson® Grilled & Ready® products in the refrigerated section or that there are a whole plethora of recipes ideas on the Tyson website. I decided on a version of their chicken fajitas recipe! Doesn’t that plate look healthy and delicious?! From fridge to plate, the whole thing took less than 15 minutes! How great is that?! Now, I know fajitas normally include a tortilla. But, I’ve been trying to save some calories and cut down on the carb intake lately. So, I skipped it. And, honestly, it was delicious! I didn’t miss the tortilla at all. So, for this recipe, tortillas are totally optional! 😉 Here’s the main ingredients:
Easy Chicken Fajitas Recipe
Ingredients
- Approx. 6 oz of Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Strips
- 3 bell peppers (colors of your choice)
- half of 1 medium sweet onion
- 1 T olive oil or coconut oil
Cooking Instructions
- Prepare Grilled & Ready chicken breast strips according to package directions.
- While the chicken is browning, cut the bell peppers & onion half into strips.
- When the chicken is almost done, add pepper and onion and cook until tender-crisp.
That’s it! 10-15 minutes total and DONE! Spoon the chicken mixture down the center of a tortilla or just plate it like I did for a lower carb option. I served the fajitas with low-sodium black beans. Super delicious meal in less than 15 minutes!

Fajitas are one of our favorite meals. I’m strapped for time a lot and I often used the Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Strips to speed up the process and my family loves it! I’ve only used the frozen variety though, I’ll have to check out the refrigerated. That would make it even quicker. SCORE!
