Ready for a good home project? Organize ALL the things in your house with these easy home projects made with your Cricut Maker! As we all find ourselves spending more time at home these days (or even ALL our time at home), you might find yourself wanting to tackle some home projects. Even better, some easy home projects! And with that is SO easy to do with a Cricut Maker!
What is a Cricut Maker?
If you’re not familiar already, the Cricut Maker is the ultimate cutting machine – great for any DIYer, crafter, sewer, etc. It is my FAVORITE “crafty” tool. In fact, the versatility and ease of use just can’t be beat.
You can use it to cut multiple materials – vinyl, paper, fabric, leather, chip board, balsa wood, and more! And switching out to use all those different materials is a breeze because the Maker has unique settings an its own unique calibration. So once you specify the material-type for your cuts, the machine will adjust the blade depth and pressure to those materials! No dials, no second-guessing on your part, SUPER easy!
Cricut Maker Project Supplies
Thanks to the versatility of the machine and all the different supplies, the possibilities are nearly endless. Over the years, I’ve used my maker to make custom swim shirts for the kids, cute tote bags, custom coasters with Infusible Ink, DIY Christmas decor, and more!

Easy Home DIY Projects with Cricut
Click through to each project to get a tutorial and the specific materials each project uses. Many of these ideas would be easy to do yourself and quite a few include the cut-file so you can completely recreate their project if you’d like! Each project utilizes the Cricut Maker to tackle a great DIY home project.
Quite a few of these are organizational in nature – using the Cricut Maker and some type of Cricut vinyl to make labels and get organized. But you’ll find some other great ideas here as well to tackle a project for the house while you’re at home anyway.

One of my favorite home projects has been this heart chalkboard sign. You can cut the large shape out of the 2mm Chipboard and then apply the Chalkboard Vinyl. You could custom make these for your kids’ bedroom doors, for a family memo board, or even a menu board. It’s held up well and I love that the custom creations are endless.
So, if you don’t already have a Cricut Maker, I highly recommend it! It is by far the most-used crafty tool that I use. And if you already have one, tell me what projects you’re working on. Any easy home projects you’re looking to tackle?
