Football Party Hot Wing BarWho else loves a football party?! Fall is all about the football here and we try to enjoy some homegating whenever we can! Put up some fun decor, get a good food spread, and team up with friends for fun football watching – TOUCHDOWN!

Football Party

Simple Football Party DecorThis party was all about the chicken wings and football things! 😉 A letter board is a fun and easy way to add a little decor to the party. So I started with that for something inspiration. Then, the other football touches can help set the theme. The DIY football utensil holder and DIY football drink tub are almost always used at our football parties! And for our football parties, we stock that tub with Coca-Cola® and/or Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar! Not only do the drinks pair perfectly with football food, but Coca-Cola® and Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar are the same as our favorite teams’ colors! So, it’s a win-win for us!
I picked up the drinks, food items, and more of our decor at Walmart! There was SO much cute football themed party items, perfect for taking our home tailgate to the next level – it’s definitely a good football party one stop shop. And to make it even easier, you can take advantage of their online grocery pickupSCORE! To add some more fun decor, I took these fun straws (found at Walmart) and added some cute football flags to them. Those little added touches go a long way! I also love the football field bowls and food trays I found there! I stocked up on these trays for all of our parties! So perfect for football food! Football Food Trays

Chicken Wings Bar

Speaking of football food…how perfect is a chicken wings bar for your next tailgate or home football party?! Wings are such a quintessential football food, that it just seemed perfect to do that as a party theme! Chicken Wings BarThe options are practically limitless for this! There are SO many different flavors and types that you can do! I opted for just 3 different kinds here – buffalo hot wings, apricot BBQ wings, and Coca-Cola BBQ wings (read on for the wings recipe). YUM!  I served up some classic munchies to go along with the wings – carrots & celery with ranch (though you could certainly do bleu cheese if you prefer), plus popcorn, pretzels, and nuts. Those all pair perfectly with Coca-Cola® and/or Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar. Football Party FoodSo, it was definitely a tasty food spread!

Slow Cooker Coca-Cola BBQ Wings

Making these BBQ wings in the crock pot is perfect for not having to spend loads of time in the kitchen on game days. Plus, the meat is so tender! The addition of the Coca-Cola helps with that too! SO tasty! You really just dump all the ingredients into the slow cooker and cook for a for a few hours. Slow Cooker Coca-Cola BBQ WingsOnce the wings are cooked in the slow cooker, I slather on some extra sauce. You can use your favorite store bought sauce or this Coca-Cola BBQ sauce recipe for a homemade version! The Coca-Cola® 24 packs come in handy for this (enough for cooking and for the party)! Then, I broil the wings for a few minutes to help crisp them up. It’s worth the extra few minutes – promise! Coca-Cola BBQ Chicken WingsHere’s the recipe:
