College Football Saturday Tailgate: Week 2

I had such fun with the first ever Col­lege Foot­ball Sat­ur­day Tail­gate last weekend!

There was such an awe­some vari­ety of projects, fun recipes, and par­ties linked up! Of course, there was an extra spe­cial place in my heart for this band post from Erin at Home for the Boys!  I love what a small world the inter­net and this lit­tle ‘ole blo­gos­phere is! See, Erin and I were in march­ing band at the Uni­ver­sity of Nebraska—-at the same time! So crazy…and so fun! I totally share her sen­ti­ments about the expe­ri­ence with one key difference…I didn’t meet my hus­band in band, but we did meet at the Uni­ver­sity of Nebraska! It should then come as no sur­prise that I also loved this “Go Big Red” Party from Esther at Laugh with Us Blog! Her lit­tlest Husker is super cute and she made a VERY red, “Go Big Red” cake! There were many adorable non-Nebraska posts though too! I’m LOVING these adorable burlap foot­balls from My Heart’s Desire!  Super easy, super cute, and a whole bunch of dif­fer­ent teams fea­tured! And, how per­fect are these foot­ball shaped sand­wiches from Pocket Change Gourmet?!  I love the may­on­naise laces–super clever!

I had planned to have another fun recipe to share. But, a bro­ken A/C and SUPER hot house has had us busy meet­ing with tech­ni­cians & sales­men (yes, we need a new one. Boooo!!!!!) has kept me away from turn­ing on the oven or doing any­thing to heat up the kitchen! Boo! So, instead, I’ll just live vic­ar­i­ously through all of your fun links this week!
