I had such fun with the first ever College Football Saturday Tailgate last weekend!
There was such an awesome variety of projects, fun recipes, and parties linked up! Of course, there was an extra special place in my heart for this band post from Erin at Home for the Boys! I love what a small world the internet and this little ‘ole blogosphere is! See, Erin and I were in marching band at the University of Nebraska—-at the same time! So crazy…and so fun! I totally share her sentiments about the experience with one key difference…I didn’t meet my husband in band, but we did meet at the University of Nebraska! 🙂
It should then come as no surprise that I also loved this “Go Big Red” Party from Esther at Laugh with Us Blog! Her littlest Husker is super cute and she made a VERY red, “Go Big Red” cake! 🙂
There were many adorable non-Nebraska posts though too! 🙂 I’m LOVING these adorable burlap footballs from My Heart’s Desire! Super easy, super cute, and a whole bunch of different teams featured!
And, how perfect are these football shaped sandwiches from Pocket Change Gourmet?! I love the mayonnaise laces–super clever!
This was just a little highlight of all the fun posts linked up last week though. So, if you missed it, make sure you head over and check out all the fun posts linked up to College Football Saturday Tailgate Week 1! And now for week 2…
I had planned to have another fun recipe to share. But, a broken A/C and SUPER hot house has had us busy meeting with technicians & salesmen (yes, we need a new one. Boooo!!!!!) has kept me away from turning on the oven or doing anything to heat up the kitchen! Boo! So, instead, I’ll just live vicariously through all of your fun links this week! 🙂
