We like sports pretty well around here (yes, even me)–especially college ones! And, we love a good excuse to get together with friends! So, March Madness is the perfect opportunity to host a party!

I got some great ideas for our party from Party BluPrints! They suggested a “bar food” type theme with all kinds of yummy things!

I was immediately drawn to the Orville Redenbacher Pop Up Bowls since we liked them so much before, the Buffalo Chicken Dip, and the Whoopie Pies. We headed out for a little shopping trip to get all of our supplies.

Looks like party food, huh?! We decided that pizza would be easier than wings with the  kiddos around. So, we went that route for a “main dish”. As soon as we got home, I made the buffalo chicken dip and did a different twist on the Whoopie pies! 🙂
After those were done, we got out the ranch dip, veggies, chips, and of course, popped our Orville Popcorn
Then, I got a brilliant idea! Our kitchen table is a brown circle, why not make it a basketball with a little electrical tape?!  Fun!

Here’s the whole munchie spread, just waiting for our friends to get there. Big Brother’s basketball board book was the perfect addition!

For the kids to enjoy some March Madness fun, we brought in their little basketball hoop! They had such a good time! Even the littlest guy got in on the action!
Love this shot of the daddies watching the game & the babies! 🙂
We all had a great time watching the game, eating great food, and hanging out!

  1. I love this! We live in France so the games come on super late and we don't have the right stuff to watch them at our house! But I would love to throw a party like this! My husband plays professionally, so how fun!
