So, how do you create a restaurant quality salad in less than 5 minutes?! You just bring your own lettuce 😉 (#BYOL)! That’s because Lean Cuisine has a new line of salad additions that enable you to prepare a delicious salad in just a couple of minutes! Doesn’t that look fancy? It had the look & taste of a restaurant salad for WAY cheaper and in much less time (not to mention, far less calories than most!). This one was the asian-style chicken, which contains grilled white meat chicken, edamame, pineapple, broccoli and yellow and orange carrots with sesame ginger vinaigrette and crispy noodles Super yum! And, the best part? I was sitting down eating my salad less than 5 minutes after I starting making it!
At just $2.50 & 260 calories, the Lean Cuisine Salad Additions can hardly be beat! The convenience alone is a huge factor for me! In my recent quest to being healthier, we’ve been eating a lot more salads. But, sometimes, all the chopping & prep is just more than I have time for. So, I love that with the Salad Additions I can have a delicious restaurant quality salad without all the prep work or without having to go out to an actual restaurant! 😉 For this, I just washed & cut some lettuce while the chicken & veggies were cooking and the dressing was thawing (only about 3 minutes). Then I sprinkled on all my toppings and had a great lunch!
I must say too that the spring rolls were really good as well! I just had one with my salad and it was delicious! I will definitely be purchasing both again. And, I can’t wait to try the other flavors! I’ve got three more Salad Additions flavors in my freezer ready for meals soon– southwest style chicken, bistro chicken, and cranberry & chicken.
Want to give them a try? Snag a coupon & head to the freezer section of your local Walmart (you can see my full shopping experience here)! Then, enjoy your restaurant quality salad in a matter of minutes!

I wouldn’t have thought to put a spring roll with the salad. What a great lunch idea!
