These homemade fudgsicles are made with banana and peanut butter for a deliciously healthy cold treat!
Mmmmm! We LOVE making homemade popsicles – especially during the hot summer months! And I love that popsicles can work as a great snack or even a healthier dessert option. That’s certainly true with these tasty homemade fudgsicles! So we are thrilled to have partnered with Arizona Milk Producers to share this delicious recipe in celebration of June Dairy Month!
The beauty of these chocolatey pops is that they’re full of ingredients I feel good about giving the boys. And with just 5 all-natural main ingredients, it’s a super easy recipe to make! My kids also love helping to make these – they love putting the ingredients in the blender…and then love putting the sticks in the popsicle molds!
Here’s the easy recipe:
Peanut Butter Banana Fudgsicles
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk I used 2%, but you can use whatever you prefer
- 4 TBSP natural unsweetened cocoa
- 1 heaping TBSP peanut butter
- 1 large banana
- 2 TBSP honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until well-combined.
- Pour mixture into popsicle molds. Insert sticks and free for at least 4 hours (or overnight).
- Enjoy!
So good! My boys loved these and I love that they’re getting the calcium, vitamins, and protein found in the milk, bananas, and peanut butter! So, we think these homemade fudgsicles are the perfect cold treat to enjoy this summer – maybe even while watching the summer games! And, speaking of – milk is proud to officially support the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams on the road to Rio, and Arizona Dairy Farmers are celebrating with ‘Milk Life’s Fuel Up like Team USA’ contest this June Dairy Month!
