It’s week #2 of the 2012 College Football Saturday Tailgate Party! How did your team do last week? Our Huskers won handily over Southern Miss with a super impressive offensive showing. So, we’re eager to see if they can keep that up this weekend against UCLA. It’s an evening game & we’re trying out a couple of new tailgate recipes (technically, homegating would be the better description). So I’m hoping I’ll have something yummy to share next week. For today though, I have a super easy crafty football idea with yet another team spirit wreath!
There are so many great school spirit wreath ideas out there. I made a ribbon one last year. But, I found a super cheap wreath form while thrifting recently & have lots of Husker fabric, so I decided to make one with a different style.
The process was SUPER easy. I cut 4 strips of my Nebraska fabric (found at JoAnn’s) and just wrapped it around the wreath form. To secure it, I used hot glue. Once you have your wreath wrapped the way you like, embellish it up a bit. I used a painted wood football and a team-themed ribbon to hang it–again, just secured with hot glue.
And, that’s it! SUPER easy! The whole thing took me less than 30 minutes (and cost me less than $5)! Love those quick, easy, and inexpensive projects!
And, now it’s YOUR turn. I can’t wait to see your football-related fun, food, & creativity!
