Breakfast Tailgate Food – Fruit Kabobs {College Football Tailgate Party}

It’s week #3 of the College Football season and Nebraska has a big game tomorrow morning against UCLA! So, we needed some fun breakfast “tailgate” ideas for our game watching. Food-on-a-stick always seems like good football food. And, for something healthy in the morning, why not some fresh fruit kabobs for your breakfast game-watching?!Breakfast Tailgate Fruit KabobsFun, right?! When you serve them up on a football plate on your very own football field table cover, they’re even more fun! 😉 And, making the fruit kabobs couldn’t get any easier – you just need some bamboo skewers and the fruit of your choice. Depending on your team colors, you can even make them team spirited! So, that is of course exactly what I did! 😉 With colors like red & white (truly “scarlet & cream”), strawberry & banana fresh fruit kabobs are the perfect choice for us. Tasty, healthy, and our team colors all in one fun dish! Nebraska Huskers Tailgate Fruit KabobsServe up your kabobs with some yogurt or easy fresh fruit dip and you have a great breakfast tailgate treat! These are fun for the kids too – just be careful about the sharp-end of the skewers! I love easy things like this that are fun too – a win in my book! Now, hopefully the Huskers will have a win tomorrow too! 😉
