We’re big Disney fans around here. So, we were thrilled to partner with Walt Disney World & Mom Select (who sent us a fun box of goodies) to host a #DisneyKids Preschool Party. There are SO many easy ideas to have some Disney fun at home!
Easy Disney Playdate IdeasFor any Disney party, I definitely think there should be some fun Disney-themed treats! Mickey-shaped food is perfect for a Disney playdate! Besides, every kiddo I know loves anything Mickey Mouse shaped! Mickey themed foodJust like we did for our Mickey & friends #Disneyside playdate, you can have things like Mickey chicken nuggets (from Costco), Chef Mickey Italian pasta salad (I bought the pasta at Disneyland), Mickey-shaped cookies & brownies, etc. This year, we made a fun new Mickey Munch recipe that the kids absolutely LOVED! And it’s SO easy to make (click here to get the Mickey Munch recipe). Or, if you’re feeling more ambitious, you can try some Disney Parks copycat recipes! Mickey Munch Snack MixOnce you’ve got a few fun foods, it’s time for activities! And there are SO many different things you could do:

  • Watch your favorite Disney movie or show. We’re BIG Disney Junior fans here, so things like The Lion Guard, Miles from Tomorrowland, Jake and the Never Land Pirates are all BIG hits. In fact, you could throw a whole Disney Junior themed playdate,  a whole Jake and the Never Land Pirates playdate, or even an awesome Lion Guard themed party!
  • Put in the Disney Parks Planning DVD (you can order one for free) and talk about favorite rides/places/ etc.
  • Let the kids dress up as their favorite character – you could have a bunch of props ready when they arrive or guests could come dressed up to the playdate! Disney Dress-up Photo Booth #DisneysideFor added photobooth fun, you can pick up a pack of HP Photo Strips. When you download the Pocketbooth app, it snaps a series of 4 photos which you can print on the HP photo strips – directly from your phone! Super cool!

Play some simple games – like Disney Parks bingo or matching! Walt Disney World sent me some adorable printables with pictures of different rides and attractions. I wish I had a link for you, but you could make your in own with your favorite park pictures! All the boys at our playdate LOVED playing bingo and getting excited seeing all the famous Disney World sites! Disney Parks Bingo

  • Then, of course, you can always get crafty! If you want to keep things simple, just setting out all kinds of different coloring sheets is always a hit around here! Or, you could do something fun like let the kids create their own character puppets. Put out some plain white paper bags, crayons/markers, stickers, embellishments, glue, and some Disney character printouts. The, let the kids make their own characters! They could even put on their very own puppet show (just like the Disney Junior Live on Stage show at Disney World!) #DisneyKids party craft

  1. That looks like a fun play date! I haven’t seen the Mickey Mouse pasta before, but my family would like it. We also have those chicken nuggets, and they taste good. That Bingo game looks like fun.
