Easy Slow Cooker Cherry Dump Cake

With just 3 ingredients, Cherry Dump Cake is an extremely easy (and tasty) dessert!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans 21 oz each cherry pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup 1 stick butter, melted

Instructions

  • Use butter or cooking spray to grease the bottom & sides of the slow cooker crock.
  • Dump cherry pie filling into the slow cooker (use a spatula to spread evenly).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix with melted butter forming a sort of crumb mixture.
  • Crumble the cake mixture over the layer of cherries.
  • Cover and cook for 4 hours on low or 2 hours on high.
  • *Optional - top with 1 cup chopped pecans
  • Serve warm and enjoy
