Easy & Fun Holiday Meal — Chicken Nuggets Christmas Tree #MealsTogether

I love mak­ing fun foods for the kiddos–especially when there is a good theme like Christ­mas! So, I made a super fun & easy hol­i­day meal with Tyson chicken nuggets! After all, why should the cook­ies get all of the fun dur­ing the hol­i­day season?!

This past week­end we were doing some shop­ping at Sam’s Club to get ready for all of our hol­i­day fun (photo recap of our fun trip on Google+)! I decided that I wanted some easy meal options with all the busy­ness going on. So, we hit up the frozen food sec­tion (for things like Tyson chicken nuggets & frozen veg­gies), along with some of the already pre­pared stuff (like the rotis­serie chicken). Per­fect for some con­ve­nient #meal­sto­gether! The Tyson Chicken Nuggets are our favorite. I think they taste WAY bet­ter than some of the other options out there. If you want to give them a try, you  give them a try before you buy as Sam’s Clubs Nation­wide will be hav­ing demos of the nuggets on 12/20 & 12/23 from 10am-2pm. Back at home with our nuggets, turn­ing them in to some­thing fun & fes­tive was super easy! After cook­ing up some nuggets in our toaster oven, I laid them out on a plat­ter in a tree shape. I used 22 nuggets to do that! I was wor­ried how “tree-like” it would look, but the boys knew right away (when it looked just like it does above)! Like any Christ­mas tree though, it needed dec­o­ra­tions! I used a small star cookie cut­ter to cut stars out of ched­dar cheese slices. Then I put on black olive pieces as well as cut toma­toes. For gar­land, just put on some ketchup. There are so many things you could use. The boys absolutely loved it and ate bet­ter than usual! Such an easy & fun way to cre­ate a fes­tive meal! What would you make with your chicken nuggets? Santa? Snow­men? Rein­deer? So many ways to get creative!
