What are some of your life’s simple pleasures? A relaxing bubble bath, curling up with a good book, peaceful snuggles with the kids, catching fireflies on a warm summer’s night, walking barefoot in cool grass, a glass of your favorite beverage, or maybe a bite of your favorite chocolate?
With everything going on in our little world lately (like the nasty stomach bug & getting ready for baby #3 to arrive any day now), I’ve been rather stressed. I could definitely use a few of life’s simple pleasures. Lucky for me, some just recently showed up in the mail– Hershey’s Simple Pleasures that is!
Now, chocolate actually isn’t my go-to treat of choice. In fact, for many years (and all throughout my childhood), I didn’t really like chocolate. GASP, I know! But, then I discovered dark chocolate. Mmmm.…..so good! So, I do like a little chocolate treat now. And, now, Hershey’s has made your little chocolate indulgence a bit more guilt free because Hershey’s Simple Pleasures chocolates have 30 percent less fat than the average leading milk chocolates! Awesome, right?!
From the photo above, you can see that there are 3 flavors of chocolates to choose from: Dark Chocolate with Dark Chocolate Creme, Milk Chocolate with Vanilla Creme and Milk Chocolate with Milk Chocolate Creme. One guess as to what my favorite is! Oh my goodness, the dark chocolate is SO good (they actually are all very good, but the dark chocolate was the best )! Rich & creamy! I would never have guessed they contain less fat than the average chocolates!
Since a little chocolate goes a long way for me, one is the perfect simple pleasure for me–especially at just 30 calories and not even 1.5 grams of fat for one! So, if you haven’t tried these yet, I definitely recommend them! And, right now, you can head on over to the Hershey’s Simple Pleasure’s facebook page, where you can declare your “sweet independence” and have a chance to win some fun prizes!
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post as part of a campaign with Hershey’s. I received the chocolates shown above for the purposes of review. As always, all opinions & experiences are entirely my own.
