Ambrosia SaladFor as long as I can remember, my family would often have “ambrosia” as a desserty side dish at various holidays and family get-togethers! Over the years, I’ve come to realize that there are actually TONS of different recipes for “ambrosia” salad, all with varying ingredients. Our version of “Ambrosia” might even be known to some as “Mandarin Orange Salad”. But, no matter what you call it, it’s quick, easy, and tasty – a perfect side dish! AmbrosiaIn our house, THIS is the one and only, “Ambrosia” (which is almost always at least doubled!!). Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:
  – 2 (8oz) cans mandarin oranges (drained)
  – 1 (20oz) can pineapple tidbits (drained)
  – 2 cups mini marshmallows
  – 1 cup shredded coconut
  – 1/2 pint sour cream

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. For best flavor, refrigerate overnight. That’s it! Easy-peasy!
