Do you travel in the winter? If you haven’t planned and booked your family’s winter travel plans yet, now is the time! Many people (especially those living in cold climates) like to book winter escapes to warmer, beachy destinations like Hawaii, Southern Florida, Southern California, etc. But, a trip to the mountains for some skiing or just some snowy fun can be a great winter family trip too! In fact, it’s something we’re planning this winter season!
Mountain Destinations
Living in the sunny desert of Arizona, we don’t get a lot of cold or snow. BUT…it’s an easy 2-hour drive north to the mountains where you’ll find pine trees, forests, cute cabins, and even skiing (yes, really)! So, we’re excited to head up to the Flagstaff area this year for a little wintery retreat (and hopefully a little snow. We’ve been eyeing this cool hexagon property up that way (with the cutest kids’ room area) and this lake house A-frame rental with a cozy vibe! How cute is that?! I love it!!!! Perfect for a winter getaway, I think! 
There are other fabulous mountain destinations in the Southwest/West Coast region too, such as Breckenridge, Park City,
