The two days after Thanksgiving are traditionally packed with some of the greatest College Football games of the year, many of them are BIG rivalry games. There are of course regular ‘ole Thanksgiving dinner leftovers, but those might not work so well for tailgating. Or, you might want to change them up a bit. So, how about making some turkey cranberry bbq sauce sliders?! They’re SUPER easy to make and quite tasty! Besides, sliders might be the perfect football food – the gameday breakfast sliders & slow-cooker pulled pork sliders have been game-watching favorites around here!
All you need for this is your leftover Thanksgiving turkey & cranberry sauce, some King’s Hawaiian rolls, provolone cheese and BBQ sauce! Super easy!
For about 9 rolls, combine a 1/4 cup of cranberry sauce with about 1 Tablespoon of your favorite BBQ sauce in a small bowl. Spread about a spoonful of the cranberry BBQ sauce on to each roll. Then, top with leftover turkey and some provolone cheese!
Place them in a baking dish or on a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 5-10 minutes, until the cheese starts to melt and the rolls brown just slightly. Serve warm and enjoy!
These were SO good! The perfect post-Thanksgiving football-watching food!
