Homemade Shamrock ShakeAt some point in time, a tasty, minty green milkshake became a classic St. Patrick’s Day treat. I’ve actually been in Ireland on St. Patrick’s Day and didn’t see anyone drinking a green milkshake! 😉 But, it does make for something fun to help celebrate! Add in a few rainbow candies from the leprechauns to make it a fun over-the-rainbow shamrock shake! The kids are SURE to love it!

  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 2 Cups Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Green Food Coloring
  • Mint Extract
  • Whipped Cream
  • Air Heads Rainbow Candy (optional)
  1. Place milk, ice cream, 5-7 drops food coloring, and about ½ teaspoon mint extract into a blender.
  2. Mix until you have your desired consistency.
  3. Pour contents into glasses and top with whipped cream and a rainbow candy or two!
