Apple and cranberry are two seasonal favorites that I LOVE! The colors are beautiful and the flavors pair so well together – perfect throughout the entire fall and winter seasons. So, this apple cranberry iced tea goes perfectly with all your fall & winter holiday dinners and special family mealtimes. Gathering with family & friends for meals is so important to me – spending time with each other and making special memories! It really is what life is all about. So I love entertaining in our home and I’m always looking for fun (and easy) twists to make our mealtimes extra fabulous! Although many people love iced tea, they often forget that iced tea really is the perfect accompaniment for a meaningful meal. And, what I love about iced tea is that it is SO easy to create unique twists to your tea that make it even more perfect for the mealtime ambiance you want! This sparkling apple cranberry iced tea really is a beautiful drink and it’s SO easy to make! You simply brew the Lipton Iced Tea (we used Lipton 24ct Regular Iced Black Tea – Family Sized tea bags) right into a large pitcher with some water. Let it brew and steep just for 3-5 minutes (until it gets that nice golden color). Then, you’ll add ice, some cranberry juice, sparkling apple cider, and fruits! Easy peasy! We find the juices add just the right amount of sweetness – and the fruit (and cinnamon sticks) add some gorgeous color & textures to the pitcher! It all comes together in just 5-10 minutes. So, it’s perfect for adding a nice twist to your family mealtimes!
Here’s the easy recipe:
- 2 Lipton Iced Tea Family Sized tea bags
- 4 cups boiling water
- 4 cups iced cubes
- 2 cups 100% cranberry juice (chilled)
- 2 cups sparkling apple cider (chilled)
- 1 apple, cut into slices
- 1-2 cups cranberries (could be frozen ahead for added chill)
- 2-4 cinnamon sticks
- In a large pitcher, pour 4 cups boiling water over 2 Lipton® 24ct. Family Size Tea Bags in heat-proof pitcher. Brew for 3-5 minutes. Remove the tea bags.
- Pour ice into the tea. Stir.
- Pour in the chilled cranberry juice and sparkling apple cider. Add in the apple slices, cranberries, and cinnamon sticks. Stir again to combine.
- Serve cold and enjoy!
So, we hope you this recipe inspires your own special mealtimes! Grab a pitcher, some glasses, and enjoy this iced tea with your family or friends!
