Roald Dahl’s The Witches Activity Sheets

Roald Dahl’s The Witches has been adapted into an all-new movie that debuted on HBO Max (this post is in partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures) and we’re sharing some fun printable Witches Activity Sheets (along with an AWESOME giveaway) to help plan an awesome movie night! We LOVE a good movie night! And The Witches is a great Halloween movie night idea! If you’re not familiar with The Witches, we highly recommend reading the book! Roald Dahl books are such classics. In fact, The Witches and The BFG were two of my favorites as a kid. I highly recommend those if you haven’t read them!

As a kid, I remembering seeing  The Witches in theaters with my grandma. Scary, but I loved it! So, I’ve been really excited about this reimagining.

About The Witches Movie  

From Oscar-winning director Robert Zemeckis (“Forrest Gump”) comes the fantasy adventure “Roald Dahl’s The Witches.”  The film stars Oscar winners Anne Hathaway and Octavia Spencer, Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci, with Kristin Chenoweth and award-winning comedy legend Chris Rock. Newcomer Jahzir Kadeem Bruno also stars, alongside Codie-Lei Eastick.

Reimagining Dahl’s beloved story for a modern audience, Zemeckis’s visually innovative film tells the darkly humorous and heartwarming tale of a young orphaned boy (Bruno) who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandma (Spencer) in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis.  As the boy and his grandmother encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches, she wisely whisks our young hero away to an opulent seaside resort.  Regrettably, they arrive at precisely the same time that the world’s Grand High Witch (Hathaway) has gathered her fellow cronies from around the globe—undercover—to carry out her nefarious plans.
