Preserving Sentimental Baby Clothes #dreftlaundry

Since Baby Brother is likely our last baby (*sniffle), I’m feeling a bit more sentimental than usual about everything (and I’m a super sentimental person, so I have it bad right now)! I’m a memory hoarder keeper and like hanging on to things that hold sweet memories. That’s why you’ll find lots of photos all over the house, fun scrapbooks, and is part of why I like blogging so much! So, it should come as no surprise that there are certain things from the boys that I absolutely treasure and plan to hang on to.

One that comes to mind is this simple little “Baby” onesie. It was Big Brother’s coming home outfit. And, then, his little brothers both wore it for photos in the hospital (I love seeing how the photography has evolved in 5 years too! ;)). I love it. But a baby can be a dangerous thing for a white onesie! I’ve tried to make sure it stays nice & unstained. I’ve seen some cute ideas for baby shadow boxes and would love to do something like that with this outfit!

Another one I love is this cute little blue overalls outfit. Big Brother wore it for his 6 month photos, as did Little Brother. Want to guess what Baby Brother will wear? 😉 With this one, I’ve tried to keep it unstained, but also tried to keep it from fading! So far, so good! For wanting to keep those special baby outfits in as close to “like new” condition as I can, Dreft Laundry Detergent is the perfect choice! (Plus, it’s nice for baby’s sensitive skin). I’m kind of doubting that the boys will be as sentimental as I am when it comes to these things, but either way, I’m hoping that Dreft’s gentle formula will help keep the outfits preserved for their little ones someday (and with that thought, I’m now all teary).

Whether you’re a first timer or the greatest, grandest mother of them all, there’s on thing moms have agreed on for over 75 years- Dreft makes your little one’s fabric feel as clean and soft as can be.
