Um, Halloween is tomorrow. How did THAT happen?! Where did October go? Furthermore, where has this whole year gone?! It’s flown by ridiculously quickly if you ask me! And , with November being just one frightfully fun day away, that means holiday season is just about in full swing! Eeek! Needless to say, that means a lot of extra money & expenses for all kinds of fun meals, treats, shopping, gifts, parties, etc. So, why not try to MAKE a little money to help fund some of that fun?!

eBay could definitely be a place to make some money just with items found around your house! Take a look at the eBay Holiday Hotlist for 2011! Maybe you have some of those very same items tucked away in closets, the garage, or toy bins not being played with. Try listing some of those in November! If you’re new to the whole selling experience, you’ll want to check out some beginner’s tips first! Start with just a couple of small items and see how it goes. Some of the parent panel members have been doing LOTS of listing & selling, some having really good success (to the tune of a couple of hundred dollars this month)!

In fact, here’s a video from Eric at Makes Me Wanna Holler with some great tips for making the presentation of your listed items stand out!

Any holiday season eBay selling experts out there?! What tips do you have for us?

  1. What a great idea! Money’s really tight right now, and I’ve been wondering how I would be able to afford holiday gifts this year. I didn’t think of selling stuff on ebay – I think I’ll look into that now and see how it goes. Thanks!
