Make this Valentine’s Day even sweeter for your littlest loved ones with a Valentine’s Day Basket surprise – your kiddos will love this cute gift idea!
Baskets typically get associated with Easter, but there’s no reason you can’t put together a sweet basket gift for Valentine’s Day! We always include the kids in our Valentine’s Day celebrations and I know ours will LOVE to receive a fun basket of goodies! You can fill any basket or container with a few of your kids’ favorite things and sweet treats! If you were to ask my boys about their favorite things, chances are VERY good that you’ll end up getting LEGO, Star Wars, or candy as an answer! So, I combined all three into a Valentine’s basket that my boys are SURE to love!
I used a super cute LEGO Duplo find for the base of my gift basket. The plastic container was perfect and the boy swill of course LOVE the contents! Then, I printed on of my printable Star Wars Valentines to attach to the front of the box. I also grabbed a few fun Star Wars items to include – like a few pencils, a lightsaber pen, and some themed glow sticks. But, it’s not a Valentine’s basket without some sweet treats!
And, there are SO MANY fun Hershey Valentine’s Day products! Those shown above are just a few examples! The Hershey’s Kisses
Take your pick from so many tasty options and fill the box to overflowing. I staggered, stuffed, and stacked items to create some height to the basket – overflowing with Valentine’s Day surprises!
Once the box was stuffed to capacity I set the lid on top (to really highlight the LEGO look) and tied the lid on with a ribbon to help hold everything in place! Easy as that!! I love the way it turned out and I know my boys are going to flip for this Valentine’s gift! It’s such a fun way to give a message of love!
Would YOUR kids love a Valentine’s Day basket like this?
