We love our Diaper Dude Diaper Bag!! {Review & Giveaway}

What could be more appropriate in a household of all dudes (well, except for me of course) than a Diaper Dude diaper bag?! Over the years with what is now three babies, I’ve tried out my fair share of diaper bags. I really didn’t like the ones I had in the past and was looking for something perfectly functional this 3rd go ’round. With the boys all being 5 and under, I still often need to carry things for the older boys– diapers for Little Brother, snacks & drinks, etc. So, I need something that can carry a lot, but I don’t want a giant bag. I’m not overly girly (maybe it’s good I had 3 boys?! 😉 ) or flashy, so I tend to gravitate toward basic & simple styles. Plus, with a diaper bag, it’s helpful if it’s something that Dad is willing to carry too. So, with all of those characteristics in mind, I think I finally found the perfect bag!!!

The Messenger II-Pinstripe from Diaper Dude

Seriously, this bag is SO functional! And, I LOVE that it doesn’t really look like a diaper bag! There’s nothing babyish about it, except for that is holds baby stuff really well (and it has a diaper bag checklist on the inside flap to help the dads out)! 🙂 I really love all the various storage compartments this bag has and the way it’s all laid out. Here are some of the specs:

• One large compartment for baby with mesh pocket and additional compartment for dad with mesh pocket.
• Padded shoulder strap.
• Insulated bottle holder.
• 3 large compartments with Velcro® closure.
• Dad checklist screened on flap.
• Breathable mesh padding for extra comfort.
• Padded changing pad.
• Clips for stroller strap.
• Interior key clip.
• Removable cell phone holder
• Bag measures approximately 17 inches wide and 14 inches tall.

I happen to love that it has the three little pouches on the front. For me, that’s one pouch for each kiddo! Perfect for each one’s cups! 🙂 You can see that it also has a lot of various zipper & mesh pouches within each main compartment. It helps keep things organized as opposed to just the giant abyss of stuff. And, do you see what else I love about it?! I can fit my macbook inside the back compartment! That will be SO nice for traveling! 🙂

Here’s a peak at the inside of the main compartment for one of our recent outings:

Contents include a burp cloth, three diapers, a paci, bottle of water, two bottles, a “just in case” pair of undies for Big Brother, and my wallet. There is actually lots of room to spare and that’s just inside the front/main compartment. That doesn’t include the 3 pouches on the front, the two on the back, the back zippered compartment or the zipper compartment on the front flap. So, definitely a lot of space! Yet, the bag isn’t overwhelming huge. I can carry it easily over one shoulder like a purse or across body, messenger bag style! It’s definitely been a great diaper bag solution for us and perfect for this dude mom household! 🙂
