If you have kids, then you are no stranger to giant kid messes. Sometimes it’s truly unbelievable how such small (& cute) little beings can great such HUGE messes. And, in this house with 3 boys all under seven, we are NO stranger to those messes! Toys, dumped sand, mud, liquid spills, food bits–you name it and it’s probably been on my floors. So, when given the opportunity from #CollectiveBias to test out the #EurekaPower of the new Eureka AirSpeed All Floors Vacuum, I was definitely game!
We were able to pick up the vacuum at Walmart (for the low price of $98.96). And, it didn’t take long before we had ample opportunities to put it to the test. The vacuum was easy to set up, and in just a couple of minutes we were ready to roll.
Right out of the box, I immediately loved that all the important buttons were all in one spot and able to be operated with your foot. With our old vacuum, the power button was in a really awkward spot. So, I was really happy about the button placement on the Eureka. Additionally, there is a brushroll button to easily switch from carpet to bare floors. Nice & easy! But, the true test is how well it cleans!
First up, was the carpet after our birthday party fun and then a crumb mess created by Baby Brother! Our family room gets used…it’s very lived in. Our kitchen & family room are one long tiled room, which is where we spend the majority of time. With babies & little ones, we had a carpet rug made to go in the family room portion. It’s made the space a bit comfier, but WOW, does it get dirty fast. We let the kids eat around the coffee table in there, so food spills happen often. We hadn’t vacuumed after the party and then today’s spill in there was chip crumbs (after Baby Brother grabbed the bag and dumped before I could snag it).
Gross!! In looking at that in detail…that is some grungy carpet! And I just vacuumed that less than a week ago! Ew! So…how would the Eureka perform? Well, immediately after turning on the AirSpeed All Floors, I could tell that this vacuum has some seriously powerful suction! It started slightly lifting our big rug up – something that no other vacuum we’ve had has done. So, I did a couple of passes over about a 3 foot by 3 foot square space. It picked up the chips no problem, but what I was SHOCKED at is what else it picked up!!
Oh my gosh, y’all…look at all the dirt!!!!!! GROSS!!!! And, that is NOT from the whole house…NOT from even the whole family room. That dirt is just from one small section. I’m amazed!!! That is some serious deep cleaning action! Our other vacuums have never picked so much dirt up from just a couple of quick passes! Even more amazing is that the vacuum was powerful enough to lift a lot of the dirt out of those stained spots!
After that fun, I discovered that the chip bag had been left on the recliner chair. Lovely. So, I took the opportunity to try out some of the attachments. I love that I could just flip a switch to go from floors to tools!
I used the stair & upholstery brush on the chair and it worked great! One quick pass and all the crumbs were gone from the chair!
Switching the to tile floors was a breeze too! I cleaned up Baby Brother’s crushed cereal mess in no time. I could go back between the rug and the tile with no issues.
So, I’m definitely impressed with the cleaning power of our new Eureka vacuum. It claims to work better than a Dyson. I’ve actually never owned or used a Dyson, so I can’t speak to the truth of that. But, I can say that from what I’ve experience so far, the Eureka AirSpeed All Floors vacuum definitely seems very powerful and cleans exceptionally well! And, for a $100 price point, I think that is extra amazing!

Awesome that it pulled up some of that stain! I have a Dyson that I love but would happily compare the two. Bring your vacuum over and we’ll let the kiddos make some messes!
Ha! That would be awesome, Heather! 🙂 And, I’m sure the kids would have all kinds of fun with that!
My kids are SO messy that I vacuum daily, boo! I love the action shot of that vacuum, it looks so powerful! I bet it would pick up our messes in a snap, thanks for sharing! #client
