Sometimes making healthy choices while eating out and being on the go can be tough, especially at fast food restaurants. But, making a healthier choice did just get way easier if you’re stopping by Chick-fil-A® as they recently introduced their new premium salads: the Chick-fil-A® Cobb Salad, Chick-fil-A® Asian Salad, Chick-fil-A® Grilled Market Salad. Chick-fil-A® has had salad options on the menu for as long as I can remember, but these new salads are improved and super tasty! They are great options for wanting a healthier/more nutritious option that’s still quick & convenient! Last week, I actually had the pleasure of hosting a salad tasting party for some friends (fellow moms and bloggers) to try out the new salads. Our local favorite Chick-fil-A restaurant (which is the one at Arrowhead for those in the Phoenix area) is a spot that we sometimes have some lunchtime meetups with some other moms and little friends. The atmosphere and food are always great. So, it was fun to host our little shindig there and it’s great to have some really great options when we eat there. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners (who are fabulous), learning all about the new salads, and learning about some of the changes to the menu board appearance (like nutritional facts clearly listed).
Look at that cute setup! 🙂 We got our choice of the new salads to enjoy! The nutrition facts are pretty impressive – especially for a fast food restaurant! Here’s more info on the salads:
Chick-fil-A Cobb Salad: Chick-fil-A Nuggets, pressure-cooked, sliced and served hot on a fresh bed of chopped romaine lettuce and baby greens, topped with shredded red cabbage and carrots, roasted corn kernels, a blend of shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses, crumbled bacon, diced eggs and grape tomatoes. Made fresh daily. Served with Charred Tomato Crispy Red Bell Peppers and Avocado Lime Ranch dressing (or guest’s choice of dressing). The salad is 430 calories and contains 39 grams of protein.
Chick-fil-A Asian Salad: Chick-fil-A Nuggets, pressure-cooked, sliced and served hot on a fresh bed of chopped romaine lettuce and baby greens, topped with shredded red and green cabbage, carrots and mandarin orange segments. Served with Honey Thai Almonds, Chinese Garlic & Ginger Wontons and Honey Sesame dressing (or guest’s choice of dressing). The salad has 330 calories and 13 grams of fat.
Chick-fil-A Grilled Market Salad: Grilled and sliced chicken breast served on a fresh bed of chopped romaine lettuce and baby greens, topped with shredded red cabbage and carrots, crumbled blue cheese and a mix of red and green apples, strawberries and blueberries. Served with Harvest Nut Granola, Roasted Nut Blend and Zesty Apple Cider Vinaigrette (or guest’s choice of dressing). The salad has 180 calories, 4 grams of fat and includes two servings of vegetables and one serving of fruit. Yum! Don’t they look good?! We certainly enjoyed eating them (and photographing them 😉 ). I love this picture of us taking photos of our food! Hilarious!
Once we were done with our photographs, then we got to eating. These salads are seriously SO good!! I’ve had them a few times now and have been impressed with the freshness each time. I think I like the Cobb best, but the Grilled Market is very good too–especially with those fresh berries! It’s light, filling, and great for summer! What’s great to is that my Chick-fil-A will make them to order. You can swap out different types of chicken, ingredients, or dressing. Chick-fil-A chicken nuggets are my favorite, but they’re higher in fat and calories. So, it’s great that I can decide to splurge or make an even better choice with the grilled chicken.

Have YOU tried the new Chick-fil-A salads? Which one sounds best?
Disclosure: This post is part of a campaign with Mom It Forward for Chick-fil-A. I received a free product samples to review, as did my guests at the tasting party. No additional compensation was received. As always, the opinions & experiences are entirely my own.

The cobb salad looks great. I have never eaten at Chick Fillet. It may be time to give them a try!
