Does any one else find the summer months a little extra crazy? Between vacations, shifts in the schedule, and new activities (like swimming lessons), juggling it all can get a little crazy! We’re on the go a lot, so figuring out healthy snacks and meals is really important. With the hot summer temperatures, one of my favorite healthy options is fruit smoothies which I’ve been making with almond or almond coconut milk for over a year! So, I was excited to see the new Silk Almondmilk Protein + Fiber!
The extra protein is always good. But, the combination of the added protein & fiber really helps to keep you feeling full for longer. So, for a great on-the-go breakfast, I whipped up a super tasty smoothie using this new awesome Silk blend and just 3 other ingredients!
Really, this cherry banana smoothie is SO easy to make! And, I love that is has so few ingredients! Here’s the very simple recipe:
Cherry Banana Almond Milk Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1/2 C pitted cherries frozen or fresh
- 1/2 large banana peeled
- 1 C Silk Almondmilk Protein + Fiber
- 1 large handful of ice
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a blender and puree until well combined.
