Carlsbad Seapointe Resort Hotel ReviewIf you’re looking for a hotel near Legoland that still has a great beachy vibe and views of the ocean, then Carlsbad Seapointe Resort is one to check out! We had the pleasure of being hosted by ResorTime here on a recent trip to California! The photo above shows the view from our room – a pirate ship with the ocean in the background! 😉 Carlsbad SeaspointeThe Carlsbad Seapointe Resort is managed by Grand Pacific Resort (the parent company of ResorTime), just like the Carlsbad Inn that we stayed at over the summer! ResorTime offers boutique hotel accommodations, condos and vacation rentals. We LOVE the size of the rooms and the full kitchen in the resort condominiums – it’s the perfect set-up for us when traveling with 3 kids.  We’ve found the condos to be very spacious. Here’s the living area seen as you walk in… Carlsbad Seapointe RoomPlenty of room to spread out and “make yourself at home”. And, the fully-equipped kitchen is always such a plus! It can really be a huge money-saver (and make life easy when you’re traveling with 3 hungry kids)! The sleeping arrangements worked out great here as well. The boys slept in the living area on the fold-out coach and there was plenty of room for Baby Brother’s pack ‘n play as well! ResorTime Condo CarlsbadOne of my favorite things about resorts like this is the separate bedroom. Our kids go to bed rather early, so it is SO nice to have a separate bedroom where the adults can stay up later and turn on the tv. We were able to get in a little college football watching that way on our Saturday night! 🙂 Carlsbad Seapointe Resort RoomOur room had an ocean view and we couldn’t resist hitting the beach! While the beach location isn’t nearly as convenient as some properties (since you have to cross a major road and walk down a hill), we still managed a walk over there to get in a little fun & sand play. Carlsbad BeachThe major upside to the resort is that it’s less than a 10 minute drive to Legoland and it has some great activities for families! We LOVED all the fun (that we could see out our window) for the kids. The boys absolutely LOVED the pirate ship playground! And…the dolphins (which are actually part of a little putting green) were of course rather popular too! Carlsbad Seapointe Resort Kids ActivitiesI LOVE family-friendly resorts that keep even its youngest guests in mind! Gorgeous weather, spacious rooms, lots of family-friendly activities, close to Legoland and the beach for the win! 😉

  1. Oh wow, that looks like a great resort! I love the room size and the availability of amenities like a kitchen and being close to the beach. Last time we went to Legoland we found a place to stay but we didn’t care for the hotel. We’ll look into this one the next time we go!
