It’s always great to have an excuse to give areas of your house a little refresh. So, when Better Homes and Gardens asked if I wanted to participate in a little blogger room refresh challenge, I was totally game! Since it’s already spring time in the deserts of Arizona, we were specifically challenged to to refresh an outdoor space with some new Better Homes and Gardens for Walmart outdoor products. We had purchased a patio set for a nice, little outdoor seating area a couple of years ago. But, it definitely needed a little refreshing! Some extra pops of color and a new outdoor rug were high on my list. And, I think we found perfect items! Take a look at the before and after…
I love the new look! Amazing what just a few accessories can do! A new rug, some large pillows, a colorful planter, and some candleholder wall decor pieces! I found the rug, pillows, and planter in the outdoor garden center of our local Walmart. The fun wall tea-light sconces were found in the home section with the candles. Even though they were shown as indoor pieces, they’re perfect for outside! The metal will hold up outside and the glass candleholders can be removed & washed when they get dusty! I love that it will create some added ambiance when entertaining at night! Plus, the leafy scroll pattern matches the rug & has a natural vibe (with the leaves)! Here are a couple of close-ups:
I’m loving it! A few simple changes makes the space so much more inviting and colorful! Perfect for enjoying on these gorgeous spring days!
