Elf on the Shelf Ideas & printable calendarHave you joined the Elf on the Shelf craze? Does your family have an elf that comes to visit during the month of December? I’ve been on the fence about it for a while. But, after Big Brother’s reaction to the North Pole Experience last weekend,  I just couldn’t resist. At 6, he is so into the magic of Christmas. And, thanks to a reminder from my friend Becca at My Crazy Good Life, we found a VERY cute elf that would be just perfect for our family! Christopher Pop-in-Kins arrived at our house last night (after a long journey from the North Pole by way of the Amazon 😉 ). Isn’t he cute?! Christopher Pop-in-Kins Elf on the ShelfAnd so, a new fun tradition is started for our family today. Christopher “popped” in for the first time last night. He listened to Santa and stayed very high – at the top of our draperies in the vaulted ceiling room. He had a note attached to him that greeted the boys. It read, “It’s the first of December and I’ve come to visit for the month. I brought a special book that tells you more about me. Can you find it?” The boys loved searching around for the book and then hearing his story. They are so very excited that Christopher will be joining us for the month of December. It will be fun to see what hiding places are little elf friend finds this month. To help him out, a friend of mine made calendar with enough ideas to take you all the way to Christmas!
