Quick & Easy DIY Shamrock Garland

Happy March! So much fun to be had this month– St. Patrick’s Day, the official start of Spring, and Easter! So, I started working on a fun spring mantel (still a work in progress) and decided to make a little shamrock garland. It was quick, easy, & cheap with some materials from the dollar store!DIY Shamrock GarlandI whipped this up in less than 10 minutes with just a few simple supplies– foam shamrock shapes¬† from the dollar store, some jute (any fun ribbon or twine would work fine, and a hole punch! That’s it!Dollar Store shamrock garland suppliesYou actually could get away with just one package of shamrocks. But, I wanted the two different colors of glittery ones. The other supplies I had at home, so this cost me just $2! Not bad! Plus, I have a lot of shamrocks left that the kiddos can craft with now.
To make the garland, punch a whole just under the top shamrock indent. Then cut a long piece of jute and lace it through the punched holes to create the garland. It’s totally up to you how mane shamrocks to include or how far apart to space them. Gotta love a super quick & easy project! DIY St. Patrick's Day Garland

I have those shamrocks. Might have to do a garland! Right now they hang in my *seasonal* tree. (The christmas tree that can’t seem to ever get put away) Snowmen all winter, hearts in Feb. followed by Shamrocks, then Easter, Red/White/Blue all summer , then fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and back to Christmas.
