Forky Krispie Treat Supplies

  • Large and small candy eyeballs
  • pull-apart licorice

How To Make Forky Krispie Treats

Overall, making these little Disney-inspired treats is super easy! You’ll start by making a normal batch of krispie treats with 1/4 C butter, 4 C  mini marshmallows, and 6 C puffed rice cereal, spreading them into a pan to cool. All the mixture to cool and make a template to cut out your Forkies. Just draw a spork-shape!  Once the mixture has cooled some (enough that everything is sticking together well) use your template to cut out the Forky shapes. This is actually the hardest part of the whole thing (because the tines of the spork top can fall apart easily). I made 6 Forkies out of one batch and still have more krispie treats in the pan. So, depending on the size of your Forky, you can easily get 6-9 from one batch. Once you have the shape cut, you’ll need to melt some candy melts. For this, you’ll melt one package of white candy melts (according to package directions). Once melted, dip coat the top and sides completely in the melted white candy and place onto a parchment lined cookie sheet. Immediately place one large candy eyeball and one small eye (just like Forky) and they add Forky’s red eyebrow with a cut piece of pull-apart licorice. Let those set and melt the aqua/blue candy melts (1/4 of the package or less). Once melted, place in a piping bag with a narrow tip. Pipe the aqua on the set treats for Forky’s mouth. Have fun with the shapes of this since Forky is always making different faces.

And that’s it! Just let everything cool completely to harden and then you’ve got adorable Forky Krispie Treats! So cute, right?! Hope your kids love these tasty Forky Treats! And don’t forget to check out the Toy Story Movie Night Snack Board idea or print some Toy Story 4 coloring pages!
