Jake and the Never Land Pirates Family Movie Night Ideas

Yo Ho, Mateys!! It’s no secret that we are BIG Jake & the Never Land Pirates fans around here since we’ve done a Jake Birthday Party and we’re doing a Jake and the Never Land Pirates Halloween Costumes for our family theme this year!  So, I’m thrilled to partner with Disney Junior and LEGO® DUPLO® to share ideas for throwing a fun family movie night and an awesome sweepstakes! Our pirate crew is so excited about Disney Junior’s Family Night Special Event on Sunday, October 26 (6 pm EST/5 CST)!! The boys have seen teasers for Jake and the Never Land Pirates in Battle for the Book on Disney Channel and have already reminded me that we need to go to Grammy & Grampy’s on Sunday for a movie night (since we don’t have cable). Fun, right?! If you want to add to the fun, you could put together a little themed family movie night! There are so many fun & easy pirate themed food you can do! Our kids LOVE the silly squid/octopus bites (just cut hotdogs). You can serve those up with some “fish & chips” (fish crackers & potato chips). Before the show starts, you can make some easy, DIY pirate swords. And, if you really want to add to the fun then you can check out a Jake and the Never Land Pirates LEGO® DUPLO® set!! We just got one and Little Brother couldn’t have been more excited! Needless to say, the LEGO® DUPLO® set was a HUGE hit. I could barely get all the pieces out of the box before the little guys started building! They were ready for some pirate adventure-building! In fact, Jake is getting ready to set sail in his very own LEGO® DUPLO® adventures on Disney Junior!! Everyone can join the action by using their DUPLO® sets at home to build their own Jake adventure and be part of Jake’s Epic Battle Build by entering the Lego® sponsored Jake’s Epic Battle Build Facebook Sweepstakes here! My boys are already eyeing some of the other sets so they can really build their own epic battle scene! So fun!
