This post was created as part of a relationship in which I was sponsored by Weight Watchers and given a free three month subscription to try their new Personal Coaching product and write about my experience. Though I was compensated for my time and commitment, all views, positive and negative, are my own. #WeightWatchers #WWsponsored ‘Tis the season for New Year’s resolutions and goal-setting for the year. So many people are motivated to make a change and get a fresh start in the new year. While I didn’t make a specific “resolution” of sorts, I am working at getting back to a healthier lifestyle thanks in part to joining Weight Watchers. Sometimes you just need that extra push, that extra support to help you on the journey and Weight Watchers understands that with an all-new Personal Coaching Program. I LOVE that with Personal Coaching I can schedule an appointment with a coach anytime that’s convenient for me! YOU are in control of picking the time, day, and coach that you think would be the best fit for you. I also like that you aren’t stuck with the first coach you choose. You can pick a different coach for your next session if you’d like – which takes some of the pressure off.
For my first meeting, I wasn’t really sure what to expect but the coach was very nice. She went over the basics of the website (which has A LOT of info & tools) and of the new(ish) Points Plus system. I had done Weight Watchers before on the regular points system, so the Points Plus was a little new for me. We also talked about some goals and an action plan. Two big things for me with getting started was to track (using the Weight Watchers tracker) at least 5 days a week and to drink more water (I had been REALLY bad with that the last few months). Another thing we touched on was the motivational quote I chose (you choose this when signing up – and can change it as you’d like).
“Don’t give up what you want most for what you want in the moment”
I LOVE this quote because it applies to almost any goal – getting healthy, weight loss, training for a marathon, paying down debt, etc. Instant gratification is just so dang easy and sometimes it’s HARD to remember the big picture or the end result just seems too far away or too out of reach. I find that it helps to keep reminders. So, I made myself a printable! It’s framed and sitting in my kitchen (right under my kitchen organization cube shelves) – it’s pretty to look at and a nice reminder to make conscious decisions in the moment about what I really want and what is best.
No matter what goal or resolution you’re working on right now…don’t give up! If the printable is inspiring to you, feel free to download & print a copy (for your personal use only). Just click the link below:
