CB-sponsored-post-white-script-600Easy Football Party Food IdeasAre you ready for some football? Or, rather…are your ready for the biggest football day of the year?! We are big college football fans, but that doesn’t stop us from watching the pros too – especially for the “big game”. This year, that big game is in our very own backyard here in Arizona! Very fun! So, I was thrilled to partner with Alexia & #CollectiveBias, to bring you some easy & delicious #GameTimeGrub ideas! Football Finger FoodsFinger foods and dips are classic football food…and some of everyone’s favorites! So, we decided to do a whole easy party spread with just that. Boneless buffalo chicken bites, popcorn chicken, french fries, onion rings- they’re all perfect football food! No need for silverware! You can see above that little hands couldn’t even resist these favorite football party foods! Alexia PotatoesAlexia has some great all-natural products, so we actually went with a few different products to make sure we had all flavors represented – crispy onion rings, spicy sweet potato fries, and crinkle cut fries (98% fat free). I actually made a few pans of each and everything was a bit hit! I’d never had the crispy onion rings before and we were all SO impressed with how they turned out…actually better even than some restaurants! Alexia Onion Rings #GameTimeGrubAnd, of course, the french fries were popular with everyone! I love that they’re 98% fat free and only 100 calories per serving…but no one would even guess that! They taste great! Alexia French Fries 98 Fat FreeThe sweet potato fries were indeed spicy, so those were definitely something more just for the adults! Given the spice, instead of something sweet, I went with a simple ranch dip (just ranch mix & sour cream) to cut the heat a little. Plus, ranch dip is always easy with the kids! It goes well with the buffalo chicken (or buffalo cauliflower bites). Spicy Sweet Potato FriesWith all these finger foods though, more dipping sauce is definitely in order! I decided to go with a couple sauces just a little more sophisticated than just ranch! Inspired by pub food during our time in Australia, I decided to make some sweet chili & sour cream dip. They serve it with large potato wedges there and it’s soooo good! So, I thought it would be delicious with our fries. All you need for that is sweet chili sauce and sour cream! YUM! Homemade Dipping SaucesI also made a homemade honey mustard dip. It’s insanely easy to make and so good. People were dipping just about everything in it – chicken, fries, onion rings, YUM! It tastes just like a restaurant copycat and it only uses 3 simple ingredients! Restaurant Copycat Honey Mustard Dip

Course: Dip
Author: Sara @ Mom Endeavors

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup honey

Instructions

  • Dump all ingredients into a small bowl. Stir until well-combined.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours or more, then serve as desired.

Notes

*Dijon mustard is a must here. Regular yellow mustard won't give it the same flavor!
The flavor is even better the next day, so consider making the night before!

Super tasty! Then, add some fun & simple football dessert(s) to your spread – whether it’s store-bought football cupcakes or something like football cake pops or football brownies! To complete the whole football party look, pick up some football plates and/or cups. You can even make a football utensils holder, football drink tub, and football field table cover!
