If you’re anything like our family, then in a few days time, you’ll probably have a fair bit of leftover Christmas ham. So, I’ve rounded up a few great recipes that can help you use up all that delicious ham while maybe trying a new recipe or two!

First up, if you’re reading this before discarding the ham bone then do NOT throw it away! You can make SOME super delicious soups using the ham bone with just those bits of ham attached around it that are hard to get off. I’ve got a recipe for ham & bean soup that you make this way. It’s SUPER easy to do & is delicious served with corn bread. Perfect for the cold winter nights! White House Black Shutters has a similar ham soup idea, only hers has potatoes & barley added too. Yum! And, if you’re looking for creamier soup ideas, then check out the ham & potato soup from The Girl Who Ate Everything and/or this ham & corn chowder from The Gourmand Mom. YUM!

If you’re not feeling soups, there are still plenty of options. How about some breakfast ideas?! I think this cheesy hashbrown & ham casserole from Mommy’s Kitchen would be perfect for the morning served up with some scrambled eggs!  You could also try these breakfast sliders that I made during football season. Seriously, SO good! They would be GREAT to serve if you’ll be having company the week after Christmas! Or, if you like this sliders concept, but want something a little more savory (more for lunch or dinner), then check out I Heart Naptime’s ham & cheese rolls or these “Hallelujah Ham Rolls” from Nest of Posies. With Hallelujah in the title, they must be super good! 😉

And, if you want to get really creative, I found 3 ham recipes that seemed super unique to me, yet sound really good (nothing too weird): Chicken Cordon Bleu Pizza from Coffee and Cannolis, Ham & Pineapple Melts from Closet Cooking, and Ham & Cheese Bread (yes, bread) from The Naptime Chef. Mr. Mom Endeavors LOVES chicken cordon bleu. So, I think I am definitely trying that pizza next week!!

A friend was in WI and was served a Ham sandwich on homemade sourdough bread with a thin layer of raspberry jam. He made me one when I visited. YUMMY.
