What’s your favorite Easter tradition(s)? Easter Sunrise Services? New Easter dresses? Decorating Easter eggs? Easter baskets? All the fun Easter candy? Decorating Easter eggs is one of my favorite family Easter traditions. We always do some egg dying the day before Easter. But, this year (thanks to a fun pack of HERSHEY’s candy we received), we did some egg-decorating a little sooner. How can you go wrong with decorating REESE’S Peanut Butter Eggs and making a candy centerpiece with them?! Decorated Reese's EggsThe boys loved our little candy egg-decorating project! And, it was super easy too! You just need REESE’S Peanut Butter Eggs (white and/or chocolate) and some colored candy melts for decorating. Reese's Peanut Butter EggsI melted a few different colors of candy melts & put the melted “chocolate” into plastic baggies with the very corner edge snipped. Then, the boys and I got to decorating our eggs! (Tip – put the REESE’S eggs in the fridge or freezer before you get started so they’re less likely to get melty). Decorating Chocolate Easter Eggs The kids of course got a little crazy with their decorating…and then they wanted to eat every egg (we didn’t). But, we had so much fun! A sweet twist on the classic egg-decorating for sure! Decorate Reese's EggsI could of stopped here. The decorated eggs would be great just served up on a tray for Easter, but a candy centerpiece is just that much more fun. To make a centerpiece, just fill a small vase with Easter candy (we used Easter HERSHEY’S KISSES Milk Chocolates and ROLO Candy). Then, stick the REESE’S eggs on skewers and place the skewers in the candy. Easter Chocolates CenterpieceFun, right?! Edible centerpieces are always great!
