Newborn Photos & a Tiny Prints Giveaway!!

I can’t believe Baby Brother is already over a month old! In the new­born haze, the days seem to blur together and sud­denly weeks have gone by! But, thank­fully dur­ing these last few weeks I’ve man­aged to take some good pic­tures of Baby Brother. This past spring, I rounded up a bunch of new­born pho­tog­ra­phy tips and shared new­born pho­tos I took of a friend’s daugh­ter. I’ve been so excited to prac­tice with Baby Brother. So, you can imag­ine that I’ve taken a lot of photos!

It all started the first morn­ing the hos­pi­tal when we had some awe­some nat­ural light…

Then, I’ve been play­ing around at home when I can. It’s been harder than I antic­i­pated to find time to do a “proper” new­born photoshoot–between need­ing a sleepy & well-fed baby, coop­er­a­tive or busy older broth­ers, and good light, it can get tricky. But, I think we’ve man­aged to snag quite a few keepers!

One of my favorite things was doing a lit­tle shoot in the back of the Tonka dump truck! Rather fit­ting for this all boy house­hold, don’t ya think?!

And, because they are my favorite, I’ve been tak­ing lots of pho­tos of these adorable, lit­tle tiny baby toes! I love them so much we even have a plas­ter imprint of them now!

So, what’s one to do with all of these fun new­born pho­tos?!  Why, make baby announce­ments, of course! I was thrilled to try out Tiny Prints for the first time to make them. The site was super easy to nav­i­gate and cre­at­ing the announce­ments was a breeze. The only dif­fi­cult thing for me was just decid­ing on which announce­ments to get. There were so many awe­some styles to choose from. First, you have to decided on how many pho­tos you want on the card & then pick a design from there. I decided on ones with mul­ti­ple pho­tos and I ended up mak­ing five dif­fer­ent options to choose from!

We ended up going with #1 and #2, because we both liked those two a lot and yet they were so dif­fer­ent. One a lit­tle more tra­di­tional; one a lit­tle more cre­ative & fun! Since this is likely our last time doing this, why not get both?! The ship­ping & ser­vice were great, so I was so excited when they arrived in the mail. I’m pleased to report that the qual­ity is excel­lent. There was even an option to include a photo or two on the back of the card! So, we added this shot of all the broth­ers!

Now, I just need to fin­ish address­ing them so we can’t get them mailed out!
