Old-Fashioned Ginger Snap Cookies

Ingredients

cup
shortening

cup
sugar
white
1
egg
unbeaten
1/4
cup
molasses
2
cups
sifted flour
3/4
teaspoon
baking soda
1/2
teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
cinnamon
1
teaspoon
ginger
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together all ingredients until well-combined.
Roll dough into little balls (about the size of a walnut).
Roll balls in sugar on drop on to a greased cookie sheet 1" apart.
Bake 10-12 minutes.
