CB-sponsored-post-white-script-600Star Wars Easter BasketEaster is right around the corner, which means it’s time to start thinking about those Easter baskets for the kids! This year, my little guys are getting a Star Wars themed basket! I don’t know how or why exactly we started it this way, but ever since Little Brother was born (ON Easter Sunday) we’ve done a shared basket for the boys. With only boys in the house who are all into similar things, the large shared basket seems to work well. I feel like it cuts down on any of those jealousy/sibling rivalry issues of  someone getting something “better” or “more” or anything else. Plus let’s face it, it’s easier for me to just do one big one! 😉 And, this year I know everyone is going to be so excited to wake up to a whole Star Wars themed basket!Disney Star Wars Easter BasketTwo of our three boys’ birthdays actually fall within a couple of days of Easter this year. And, they’ve already decided on a Star Wars birthday theme. So, when given the opportunity to work on a #DisneyEaster campaign for #CollectiveBias, I knew a Star Wars Easter basket would be a perfect fit! I had some grand plans to do a whole DIY basket with so fun Star Wars fabric, but when I saw the plush Yoda basket at Walmart I knew it would be a big hit! Plus, it will be perfect for the Star Wars birthday as well! #DisneyEaster WalmartThen, I also happened to stumble upon a Star Wars Rebels bucket and I couldn’t pass it up either. The boys are HUGE Star Wars Rebels fans!! So, I might just give that two them as well in a sort of stacked basket ensemble! 😉 Star Wars Rebels Easter BasketNow that we have the Star Wars basket(s), we need some fun Easter basket fillers and I had no problem finding fun Star Wars-themed items!! Here’s what I got: Star Wars Easter Basket Fillers

Star Wars Easter Basket Fillers:

  • Star Wars Rebels Egg Decorating kit
  • Star Wars Rebels DVD (they are going to FLIP about this!)
  • Bubble wands (that look like light sabers of course)
  • Glow Sticks (again, light sabers!)
  • Gold Egg (C3PO)
  • Star Wars Rebels Egg with Tattoos
  • Glow in the Dark Stars Pack
  • R2D2 Easter Eggs (I love these!)
  • Candy

If you wanted to have some DIY items to put in your Star Wars Easter basket, you can’t go wrong with the easy no-sew Star Wars blankets, DIY Star Wars t-shirts, or any of these Star Wars craft ideas! I didn’t “DIY” anything in their basket this time, but that’s ok because the items I found were just too fun! I LOVE the R2D2 eggs! The chocolate eggs I found were all silver & blue. So, I thought those were perfect for putting in the R2 eggs. R2D2 Star Wars Easter EggsSo much fun! I know the boys are going to absolutely LOVE their Star Wars-themed basket! It will be the perfect ending to their birthday week and fit right in with their Star Wars themed birthday!

Do you have Star Wars fans at home? Would they love a Star Wars Easter basket?

For even more Star Wars fun, you could print out some Star Wars Rebels coloring pages & activity sheets to include in the basket! Star Wars Rebels Printable Activity Sheets & Coloring Pages

  1. I love the idea of a shared basket. I could do this for the Son & Grandsons , A family basket! Every year I buy individual baskets or bags for everyone. Then fill with like or similar items. Now you have got me thinking.:)
