Do you have little ones that LOVE eating from those squeezable food pouches? My boys LOVE them! Even Big Brother still at 6! They are SO convenient for traveling and on-the-go trips! However, at usually $1 or more a piece the cost can really add up. Plus, they are SO wasteful. Most of the pouches aren’t recyclable. Ugh! So, we don’t buy them very often–just special treats on special trips usually. Imagine my excitement then when I was sent some reusable food pouches to review: Squooshi! squooshi1Aren’t they adorable (the boys and the pouches 😉 )?! Will Squooshi, you don’t have to spend over $1 on a pouch that will get thrown away in mere seconds. Yay for reusability! Just “Fill. Eat. Wash. Repeat”. We received the assorted 4-pack to review, which is great in this house with bigger and smaller boys! I think these are going to be SOOO handy for Baby Brother! The 4-pack comes with 4 different animals and 2 different sizes. Squooshi Reusable Food Pouches

A few facts about Squooshi reusable pouches:

  • BPA-free, Phthalate-free, PVC-free, and Lead-free.
  • Made of puncture resistant plastic, to provide convenience and durability.
  • Freezer & dishwasher safe!
  • They pay for themselves in just 3-5 uses per pouch. In my house, that will be REALLY easy!

Awesome, right?! We’re loving them so far! I was concerned about the zipper pouch not holding the contents. I had visions of Squooshi explosions. But, none thus far. While over the sink, I even tried squeezing as hard as I could to get the zipper to pop open. It held tight! 🙂 The only question I still have it long-term durability. We’ve only been using ours a couple of weeks and so far, they still look brand new. But, since I haven’t been using them for months, I don’t know about long-term. However, in my book, the reusability of these (even if they do only last a couple of months) is FAR better than purchasing the ones at the store. Not only are we helping the landfills and planet out by reusing. BUT, I know the contents!! I can fill with homemade, fresh food…or organic…or all-natural no sugar added. LOVE it! To fill, you just open the zipper on the bottom of the pouch and spoon (or pour) in your food into the pouch until it’s about 3/4 full. Zip the pouch back up and that’s it! They can be frozen or refrigerated. How handy is that for traveling?!?! 6. I have 4 and we use them all the time. I need to wash them at least once a day… another set would be wonderful!

  7. Perfect for a picnic! I would fill one with lentils, kale, and greek yogurt as the main course. I’d fill another with guava and avocado for dessert!

  11. I love that I can put anything in them! My kids love smoothies, yogurt, applesauce, homemade pudding, even dips for crackers. And the variety pack is perfect for my 2 littles (1&2) and 2 bigs (5&9)

  12. These look great! We love those squeezie applesauces, but I make homemade, so I buy them for travel and snacks…these would be perfect!!!

  13. What a cute product and so clever! I’m sure my daughter who is 2 1/2 would love these as much as my son who is just 6 months and beginning to eat a more solid diet.

  14. My 6 months-old dearest daughter just started to eat solid. I have been making homemade food for her and I would love to try to use Squooshi. So far I feed her with tiny spoon. I would like her to try to hold the pouch and see if she would enjoy that 🙂

  15. I’m so excited about these! I have trouble getting my 2-year-old to eat in general, but she’ll eat just about anything out of a squeezy pouch. The disposable ones are so expensive, though, and I have a lot of eco-guilt about them. So these will be perfect. I’m thinking a quinoa-carrot-pear blend.

  16. I love that you can re-use them. My son has started preferring pureed food recently and I love how easy these seem to be. I also love the designs. So cute. Great for trips too!

  17. I have a set and these pouches are wonderful. I use them whenever traveling long or short distance. Great healthy quick & no mess snack for my 1 year old. I have filled it with fruit and veggie purees. I made some strawberry, banana & milk smoothie the other day, it was a big hit. I clean it with milk bottle brush and straw cup brush for the mouth piece. Very easy to clean.
    Love Squooshi!

    1. That’s a great idea, Jenny!! We went through weight gain issues with our oldest for a period! Good luck!!

  18. I would love these to put yogurt in or smoothies for sports days or homemade applesauce-veggie combinations (to sneak some veggies into them!)
