I was just thinking yesterday that I need to find some slow cooker recipes that can cook for up to 8 hours. Since school started a few weeks ago, the kids and I have been grabbing fast food on the way home because everyone is crying, "I'm hungry!" At least if I did a one dish slow cooker meal, it would be healthier and hot and ready when we got home. Win-win.

I wish I could personally thank the person who invented the Crock Pot. :-)

Hi Andrew,
You can definitely taste a hint of the balsamic, but we didn't find it too overpowering. I actually make it like this a lot!
