From the creators of Chicken Run and Wallace and Gromit, comes Shaun The Sheep an all-new family fun movie hitting US theaters on August 5, 2015! Ewe know ewe want to go see it! 😉 A few years ago, Big Brother actually had a little obsession with Chicken Run! The boys are super excited to see this one, so I was thrilled to join the #ShaunTheSheep sponsored blogging campaign! Here’s a little overview…
When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan, and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it’s up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.
Fun, huh?! The movie has already been released in the UK and is getting great reviews! So we are really excited to see it! And, one thing we love about fun, family-friendly movies is that many of them lend themselves SO well to parties, making fun crafts, doing fun activities, etc. Shaun The Sheep is no different. On the movie’s website, there are all kinds of fun games & printable activities – choose from craft ideas, printable Shaun The Sheep coloring pages, movie party supplies and more! You can click the photo below to get the printables (just click on “create” once you’re on the site). So much fun! For even more craft ideas, printables, and activties, be sure to follow along with the Shaun The Sheep Pinterest Board too!
Inspired by the pom pom sheep craft, we decided to have a little fun of our own and we made a Shaun The Sheep paper plate craft! What is it about cotton balls that kids love so much? I’m not sure, but I know mine had fun making this craft. We just used a small paper plate (like a lunch/dessert plate), cotton balls, glue, and an enlarged printed Shaun The Sheep face template from the Pom Pom Sheep craft above. Super easy! We can’t wait to see it in August! Will ewe be planning a movie trip?!
For more Shaun The Sheep fun, be sure to follow along with the #ShaunTheSheepFlock hashtag on social media. There will be a fun Instagram Sweepstakes leading up to the #ShaunTheSheepFlock Twitter party on August 5th (4-5pm PST/7-8pm EST). So, don’t be sheepish…Be sure to join in for some fun and a chance at prizes!
Shaun The Sheep hits US Theaters on August 5th, 2015! Will ewe be planning a time to see this family-fun movie?Â
