Paleo One Pan SkilletA few years ago I made a delicious one-pan dinner with some chicken apple sausage, potatoes, and apples. It’s such a great meal and is full of some great Fall flavors. This time though, I decided to do a paleo version. Instead of regular white potatoes, I used sweet potatoes and the results were fabulous! Paleo SkilletDoesn’t it look great?! The meal is SO easy to make and I love it’s done in just one-pan! Yay for easy clean up! I use my electric skillet, but any large skillet pan will work if you don’t have the electric skillet. The flavor combination of the chicken apple sausage, sweet potatoes, and apples is great! So, it makes for a great weeknight family meal!

This is amazing. And I actually overcooked it because I was distracted and expected it to take longer than it did – the sweet potatoes got soft enough to mash (and slightly caramelized) and the apples, well, you can’t really SEE the apples anymore, they’re more like applesauce – and it’s still insanely good. And so simple. Thank you!

    1. I’m not sure of exactly the timing at this point. Just until everything is fork tender (which should probably take not any longer than 20 minutes)

    1. I get chicken apple sausage at just about any grocery store. There are quite a few different brands out there! As for servings, we’re a family of 5 (3 kids are young) and we usually have enough for dinner with then a serving or two for lunch the next day. So maybe serves 4-8 depending on the serving sizes.

  2. This was so yummy and easy to make! Only took about 11-12 min on the skillet for it to be fork tender and ready to serve! Thanks for sharing this simple and delicious recipe!

This has been a staple recipe in our house now for the past 18 months. We absolutely love it. I also enjoy the fact that I can make it fast, after a full day, and everyone gobbles it down. Such a winner!

  4. Im looking forward to cooking this for dinner tonight! Quick question tho… are no seasonings or spices needed or is that just up to you, but not expressly stated?

    1. I don’t add seasonings when cooking this normally as I find the sausage tends to give off a lot of flavor/salt. So, it really is up to you – a little pepper. Or maybe even some cinnamon!
