New Trent’s iCarrier Mobile Device Charger – Giveaway {Travel Tuesday}

I was recently sent an iCarrier Mobile Device Charger from New Trent to try out (and one to giveaway…at the end! 😉 ). It’s a handy little gadget to say the least! New Trent iCarrierHave you ever been at a conference…or traveling…or just out and about when you realize your phone (or other device) doesn’t have enough battery life to get you through the rest of your day? We’re usually pretty good about charging things on a day to day basis. But, when I’m at a blog conference or we’re traveling (especially at Disneyland), it’s a whole different ball game. Searching for outlets in those situations is a pain (and sometimes completely fruitless). So, having a mobile device charger like this is amazingly awesome for those situations! It’s small enough that I can just too it in my bag and go. If you’re looking for a small pocket device, I’d say this is too bulky. But, for your bag, it’s perfect!

I used to be the only one in the house with a smart phone. But, both Mr. Mom Endeavors & I have iphones…and we have ipads. That’s a lot of devices  to charge when you’re traveling! With the iCarrier though, you’ve got two usb ports! Sweet! That’s SO convenient when you have more than one device to charge.  And, the iCarrier can charge A LOT of devices! Here a list:

  • Apple: iPhone 5/The New iPad with Retina display/iPad 2/iPad/iPhone 4S/ iPhone 4/ iPhone 3GS/ iPod Touch
  • Samsung: Galaxy Note/Galaxy S3/Galaxy S2/Galaxy Nexus /All other Samsung cell phones
  • HTC: Evo Shift 4G/Incredible S/Sensation XL /Thunderbolt / EVO 3D / EVO 4G / All other HTC cell phones
  • Motorola: Razr/Atrix / Bionic/ Droid X , X2/ triumph/All other Motorola cell phones
  • Blackberry: Tour/Storm 2/Curve/ Bold/ Blackberry cell phones
  • Portable game consoles: Sony: PSP / PS Vita, Nintendo DSi / DS lite / 3DS / XL.
  • Tablets: Nook COLOR, Google Nexus 7, Galaxy Note, Kindle

See?! A lot of devices! It’s got approximately 11 hours of charging ability in it before needing to be recharged and can be recharged 500 times!

Sounds pretty awesome, right?! If you’d like an iCarrier device for all your mobile charging needs, you can get it from Amazon here (affiliate link) —> New Trent iCarrier

This would be great to use in any of my rooms, we hardly have any power outlets. This would keep my Kindle, my only form of communication with my long distance family,

  2. RMetzger says

I always use my smart phone when I’m grocery shopping, running errands or any time I’m “waiting” in line, for my kids etc. But that can drain my battery pretty fast. I’d love to have this little gem 😉

  3. says

I’d keep it in my purse during vacations and blog conferences when I’m depending on apps, GPS, etc. more often than I do when I am hom e – which is still a lot

  4. Lara B says

I desperately need a charger on the go but am unsure of what one would be great. This one sounds like it just might be the one. I hope I win and can find out first hand.

  5. says

I could see myself using it on Day trips out of our city. It looks like it comes in handy when you are in a bind and need that boost on your cell phone to get you through the day!

  6. Laura Jacobson says

Oh we would keep it on us pretty much at all times! We always seem to run out of charge on the phones and IPAD. This would be a lifesaver!

  7. says

I would keep this in my purse for use on all those times when I forget to turn GPS off on my phone and the battery runs down while I’m not paying attention. Oops!

  8. says

I wish I had it yesterday at Disneyland when my phone went womp womp! Thank goodness my husband’s phone still had enough juice to take a few more pictures! Thanks for the giveaway…will look into one of these for our next trip!

When we travel it is sometimes difficult to find enough convenient outlets in your hotel room for all the things that need to be plugged in!

  10. Samantha D. says

I would use this when I go camping in the summer. Since there is no outlets it would really come in handy. Or just in general if i’m out and about or have it just for emergencies (such as when warm weather storms/heat knock out the power)

  11. Sara Filler says

I would be able to use this at work and meetings on the go where you don’t always feel comfortable using a plug charger

  12. samantha says

Would be perfect when I have many places to be throughout the day. Sometimes I have to write details on paper in preparation for a dead phone.
    Also I can listen to way more music c;

I just recently purchased my first smartphone and I will tell you I’m not too impressed with GS3’s battery life at all..I’m I the market for one these device chargers..I’m looking for a good one that will last and I will be impressed if this one lasts as long as it says it does..Going to buy one but first I’ll wait to see if I’m the lucky person to win it…Good luck to the rest!!

  14. Shemp DeYoung (@shempgames) says

My son has lots of out of town games. This would be good to have for the trip home.

  15. Kathy Hanley says

In our house we have 3 iPhones, 3 iPods and 1 iPad and when we travel or have a long day someone always needs to charge something. I see keeping this in our main vehicle or my daughter taking it to school because she plays sports and is gone for 11 hours and always comes home with a dead phone.

  16. Linda Kwolek says

I would be able to charge my E Reader on th go instead of having to wait to finish reading the “last page” at home>

  17. karen says

I would use it while traveling and just when we are out and about. A few phone calls and my iPhone’s battery is zapped.

  18. Blessie Nelson says

I do a lot of travelling across time zones, so this charger is the ideal gadget for me to stay in touch with my family all the time.

  19. says

I’d use this in the car when my boys have all the charger outlets tied up with their own technology already! GREAT giveaway! 🙂

  20. says

Oh man! With all the traveling we do, this would be awesome! Love that it works with so many things too! Thanks for offering this!

  21. Darlene Arnold says

I would use it when I was out and my granddaughter had been playing games on my phone and my battery was almost drained. Happens all the time. I currently have to conserve what little bit of battery life is left.
