We’re busy trying to get organized as back-to-school time is right around the corner. With one year under our belt, I feel like I have a better idea of what worked for us and what didn’t. And, one thing we needed to improve on was writing down important dates and school reminders. The fridge is probably the most widely trafficked area in the mornings, so I decided that we really needed a functional dry erase calendar up there. I could have gotten fancy with something big and framed, but I crafted up something fast and functional instead.

DIY Dry Erase, Magnetic Calendar It only took a couple of minutes to make and is wonderfully functional! It’s going to be perfect for the school year! You could certainly create your own calendar on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. But, I already had a open grid style one that I loved. Instead of using a new paper sheet each week, I decided that it would be much better to just make one of the sheets reusable! All you need is a paper calendar, a laminator, and some stick on magnets! Fellowes LaminatorI used my Fellowes lamintor (you can read my laminator review here and you can buy it through my affiliate link here on Amazon). Once the calendar is through the laminator, add some stick on magnets so it will stick on the fridge. DIY Magnetic calendarSuper easy, right?! You could even spruce it up with a little washi tape if you wanted. Either way, in just minutes, you have a reusable calendar that’s ready to go!
