If you have young kids and like to travel or camp…or, if you have young kids that might spend time at a caregiver’s house or spend the night at grandma & grandpa’s every once in a while, then you might be especially interested in this product! Joovy sent me their foocot portable child cots for review and I’m really impressed! Joovy Foocot ReviewFor those not familiar, Joovy is an American company that prides itself on designing and manufacturing family gear products that are extremely useful, practical, good-looking and FUN! As a Joovy mom, we have a number of Joovy products that I’ve reviewed on the blog including the BabaSling, Joovy Loo (potty seat), and the Cocoon X2 (stroller/bike trailer/jogger). Overall, I’ve been quite impressed with the quality of these products and the Foocot is no different! joovy foocotThis is SUCH a great product for us! The two “big boys” are far too old & big for Pack ‘n Plays, but there are times that it would be really nice for them to have a designated place to sleep or rest that’s a little better than the floor/ground. I’m amazed at how portable it is! These were out of their boxes and sent up as you see above in less than 5 minutes!

What’s especially amazing to me about Foocot is how compact & lightweight it is. Weighing in at just 6 pounds, it’s light enough for many kids to carry – especially with a carrying bag. It folds up just like a camping chair (but the bag is MUCH smaller & lighter than any of our chairs). So, this is very easily portable, making it great for family travel! Here are some of the Joovy Foocot features:

  • 100% cotton fitted sheet included.
  • Travel bag with shoulder strap included.
  • Two side storage pockets
  • Quilted mattress pad available
  • Supports a child up to 48 inches tall or 75 pounds.

Joovy Foocot FeaturesI love the fact that it comes with a fitted sheet and LOVE the storage pouch feature! So nice for keeping sippy cups, special toys, or a flashlight in! The boys thought the cots were incredibly “cool”! The only downside is that when they saw them all set up, the thought they were mini-trampolines. Littler Brother exclaimed, “wow…are those for us to jump on?!” Ha! So, we had to have a talk about that. But, then, the wanted to pull the cots out and have them in front of the Christmas tree! 🙂 So fun! I can’t wait to take these on our next trip. Even though Big Brother is approaching 48″, he is WELL under the weight limit and still seemed to fit comfortably on the cot! How cute are they laying together in front of the tree?! LOVE! Portable Child Cot

The cot comes in four color choices, which you can purchase from Joovy.com or on Amazon. And, you can keep up with the latest news, deals, and products by following along on  facebook and twitter. But, first you actually have a chance to WIN IT!!!!!!!!!
