Could possible use extra long shoe laces with younger children! Easier to poke thru the holes!

Hi Andrea,
Thanks so much for stopping by! We didn’t have an issue with it. It was a while back now, but I think we used washable tempera paint – maybe Crayola even. So, once the kiddos washed up, everything seemed to come off just fine! Good lucK! 🙂

Sara – This really is such CUTE idea! Do you have any suggestions on how to prevent the kids’ hands from being stained by the paint. The idea of using black, of all colors, scares me! 😉
