Fun Fall Snack MixI’m excited to share a fun & tasty fall snack mix! As part of a sponsored campaign with Mom It Forward, we’ve teamed up with Alpha-Bits to bring you some great snack ideas this fall! With a preschooler & 1st grader in the house, I knew we could have a lot of fun with this. Easy kids snack mixFor the fall snack mix, we just combined some popcorn, pretzels, and Alpha-Bits cereal. Then, for a little added fun we put in some fall colored peanut M&M’s. You can just mix it in a bowl and serve. It doesn’t get much easier than that!

You can put the snack mix in individual little treat bags too- perfect for road trips, snack time in the car after school, or even after sports practices. For our bags, we added one candy pumpkin for an extra fall-themed treat. Alpha-Bits cerealThe boys loved the Alpha-Bits cereal and seeing what letters were in their bags. That practice is especially great for Little Brother who is learning all of his letters. It’s always great when the kids can have fun playing with their food and learn something too! Alpha-Bits has 20g of whole grains and 12 essential vitamins and nutrients per 30g serving, so it was the perfect addition to our snack mix.  Another fun thing would be to put letters in the snack mix bags that actually form words. Kids could see what words they could spell from the letters in their bags! Super fun! It’s great finding ways to have fun that are also educational and with Alpha-Bits cereal that is really easy to do!

The boys loved this so much that I decided to make another fun snack, geared more toward Big Brother – a spelling word/sight words snack! It was a HUGE hit and would even work well in lunches!!

What fun recipes/activities would YOU make with Alpha-Bits?

    1. Oh goodness, Abby! I don’t even remember now. But, I know it would have been either one of the regular grocery stores or a Walmart/Target!
